Kaduna State Government in partnership with an NGO “Oxford Policy Management braced up towards enhanced quality of Education, Professor Sani Muhammed Bello (Mainan Zazzau) stated this through the Ministry’s Director Planing Alhaji Salisu Baba Lawal, at a Reflection meeting on Findings and Lessons Learned from the study on the implementation of the Teachers Recruitment, Development and Retention Policy in Kaduna State.

According to the Education Commissioner the Ministry and the Oxford Policy Management have gone far in conducting research on how to rejuvenate the state education sector, especially at Primary and Secondary Schools levels. He also stressed that as part of such arrangement emphasis would be geared
In a remark, the permanent member TUC Kaduna State Teachers Service Board Alhaji Shehu Sani Othman said the meeting came at the appropriate time as the board has already recruited a substantial number of teachers and deployed them to schools to augment the existing ones.
Speaking on the occasion, the Kaduna State Branch Chairman National Unition of Teachers NUT, Comrade Ibrahim Dalhatu described the meeting as apt in view of the state governments desire to revamp the education sector through implementation of effective Policies.
